Sri Lanka to celebrate 76th National Independence Day at Galle Face Green

Commemoration on 4th February to feature grand events

Tri-forces, police to participate in march

Sri Lanka will mark its 76th National Independence Day on Sunday, 4th February 2024, with grand celebrations planned at Galle Face Green in Colombo.

The day will be commemorated with a series of events, including a march by members of the Tri-forces and Police, as well as cultural performances and fireworks.

In a statement, the Defense Ministry urged the public to participate in the celebrations and show their patriotism and support for the nation.
