Bernie Kosar remains one of the most beloved sports figures in Cleveland history. He played quarterback for the Browns from 1985 to 1993 and led the team to the AFC Championship Game three times. Kosar was a fan favorite, known for his toughness and leadership.

A True Cleveland Brown

Nobody wanted to be a Cleveland Brown more than Bernie Kosar. He grew up in the Cleveland area and was a lifelong fan of the team. When he was drafted by the Browns in 1985, it was a dream come true. Kosar quickly became a star, leading the Browns to a playoff appearance in his rookie season.
